Pro Plumber was able to provide accurate quote over the phone without the need to come out to the house. They came out on very short notice and had my new water heater installed the following day at a reasonable price. A word of advice for anyone looking to get a new water heater: almost all of the new models out there use a crappy Honeywell gas valve that will most certainly fail on you in a year or two and require replacement. Pro Plumber uses the old style White Rogers valve on their Bradford White heaters. To my understanding this is not standard, but apparently Houston area Bradford White heaters come with the old style valve due to so many failures of the Honeywell model. Please do your homework before you buy.
